The summer food drive is right around the corner. Please bring your canned goods and non-perishable items to the store to support our families during the summer months. 

Word Keepers, Inc was established as an outreach ministry located in Saint Petersburg/Tampa Bay Florida area, providing food and clothing to those who were homeless, drug addicted or recovering from economic hardship. 

In 2000 Word Keepers Inc moved to Clermont, Florida and was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and after the devastation of  Hurricane Katrina, found itself on the front line assisting families relocated from New Orleans to Clermont Florida, obtaining housing, medical assistance , food, clothing, Red Cross, FEMA funding, and spiritual support.

In 2006 Word Keepers Inc. established it's first thrift store and food banks located in Clermont, Fl. Well of Hope Thrift Store is located in a key position that allows it to assist many Central Florida families in distributing food to those that are in need, in it's first year Well of Hope assisted over 6000 families and distributed more than 55000 pounds of food to our local community. 

Word Keepers Inc in conjunction with Well of Hope Thrift Store and Food bank  is a partner of The Salvation Army, United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties, The Human Care Network Of Central Florida, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, and has since 2008 been the major contributor of food in the 4 Corners area of Clermont Florida, distributing over 250,000 pounds of food to over 25,000 families.
